When should you schedule maternity photos?
We typically recommend scheduling maternity photos between 28 and 34 weeks. During this time, your baby bump is beautifully visible while you're often still comfortable enough to enjoy walking on the beach.
Every pregnancy is different, so we always encourage expecting mothers to schedule a little earlier if they are expecting multiples or have a history of early deliveries.
Why sunset is our favorite time for maternity photos
Sunset provides the most flattering light on the beach. The soft golden tones create a dreamy, timeless look while also keeping temperatures more comfortable, especially during the warmer months.
We intentionally schedule maternity sessions during golden hour to take advantage of the beautiful Gulf Coast sunsets.
What should you wear for beach maternity photos?
For beach maternity sessions, we recommend:

Dusty pinks

Weather can be unpredictable on the Gulf Coast. If conditions are unsafe or unsuitable for photography, we will work with you to determine the best available option based on our schedule and your travel plans.
